The Egyptians follow the developments of the Coronavirus pandemic on a daily basis, hoping that the efforts of medical authorities and staff will be successful.
In the latest local developments, it was decided that:
- The movement of citizens is prohibited on all public roads from eight in the evening until six in the morning the following day.
Stop all public and private mass transportation from 8 pm until 6 am
Closure of all commercial and handicraft stores, including shops selling goods and malls, from 5 pm until 6 am, with full closure on Friday and Saturday.
- Close all cafes, cafeterias, casinos, and all that provides recreational and entertainment activities completely.
- Close all restaurants and similar shops and facilities, with work limited to home delivery services only.
- Suspending the provision of all services to ministries and governorates for citizens, such as civil registry, passports, real estate registration, and building permits, except for health offices.
Close all sports clubs, popular clubs and youth centers in all parts of the Republic
Extending the suspension of studies in all schools and universities
- The number of employees in government departments and the public sector continues to decrease for another 15 days after the end of the last decision period on the first of April, with the exception of hospitals, medical centers and their workers
