Ministry of Health and Population - Egypt:
- Healing cases of those infected with the Corona virus increased to 3172 and their discharge from isolation and quarantine hospitals

- The number of cases that have been transformed as a result of its tests from positive to negative for Corona virus has increased to 3,742 cases

- 510 new positive cases of corona virus were recorded, and 18 deaths

Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced the exit of 222 persons infected with the Corona virus from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those who recovered from the virus to 3172 cases until today.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been converted from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 3,742 cases, including the 3172 recovered.

He added that 510 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the ministry's surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 18 new cases.

Mujahid said that all recorded cases of HIV positive in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

"Mujahid" stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Sunday, is 12,229 cases, of whom 3172 cases were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 630 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates, follow the situation first-hand regarding the "emerging corona" virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, as the hotline "105" and "15335" has been allocated to receive citizens' inquiries about a virus Corona emerging and infectious diseases.

The decisions announced at a press conference of the Prime Minister and a number of ministers were as follows:

The curfew begins at 5 pm until 6 pm from next Sunday.

Close all shops, restaurants, gardens, parks and malls from next Sunday to May 29.

Stopping the movement of all mass transportation and transportation between governorates.

Close beaches, parks, recreational places, restaurants and parks.

- The ban will return in the week after the Eid from 8:00 pm.

Ban the Eid prayer in the arenas.

- Eid prayer broadcast from a mosque in the country.

- Eid prayers will be restricted to those working in the mosque, and rituals will be held until citizens can see them through the visual and audio media.

- Wearing protective masks while in public places, or forcing citizens to collect compulsorily, and strict decisions with penalties for those who are not committed.

- The requirement to enter any government establishment, bank, or any closed place is to wear a muzzle and it will be applied to public and private mass transportation.

- Encouraging the government for all factories to manufacture cloth masks due to the ease of washing and using them more than once, which saves citizens, especially with the government's tendency to impose masks compulsorily.

- Compatibility: After the Eid vacation and the return of life after 5/30, there will be precautionary measures for coexistence with the Corona virus.

There are some activities that will return from the second half of next June, according to certain regulations.

- Among those activities, sports activity and club opening will see a gradual return.

- The government will discuss the reopening of places of worship in the second half of next June, after weeks of closure.

- It was decided to start high school exams on the 21st of next June instead of June 7.
