The number of newly infected kerna virus infections in Egypt has reached 2,065, including 447 cases that have been cured and discharged from the isolation hospital, and 159 deaths
A statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Health stated that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been transformed from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 589 cases.
It is worth mentioning that the corona viruses are species widespread viruses cause diseases ranging from common colds to the most severe diseases, such as (Middle East respiratory syndrome MERS ) syndrome and severe acute respiratory (SARS).
The emerging virus Kurna ( NCoV ) is a new breed of these viruses have never discovered in humans.
- In terms of symptoms that accompany infection with this type of virus, they are as follows:
respiratory symptoms, fever, and coughing. - Shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
- In more severe cases, the infection may cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
No effective treatment has been reached yet to eradicate this global epidemic, but there are recommendations that the World Health Organization recommends to prevent the spread of infection, including:
- Wash hands regularly.
- Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze and cough.
- Meat and eggs are completely cooked.
- Avoid contact with anyone who has symptoms of respiratory illnesses, such as coughing or sneezing.
